Three options will open: Delete, Pin or Clear All. Just click the ellipsis (.) next to the item. You can select specific items and protect those from deletion by pinning them. From that point onward, you can press Win+V to view a. If you have 25 items in your history and you copy one more, the oldest item is deleted. Using the Windows 10 Clipboard History tool is easy: Press Win+V, and you’ll see a small pop-up prompting you to turn on the feature. Note: Clipboard history can retain up to 25 items. Here is how you can do it: Open File Explorer. You can restart the Remote desktop clipboard process using File Explorer. Reset the Remote Desktop Clipboard Process. With the second option, you have to open your Clipboard history and manually select the items you want to sync. Thankfully, Windows now provides access to your clipboard history. With the first option, every item you cut or copy is synced. If - before you got a chance to paste it - you selected and copied ( Ctrl+C) another section of text, then your original text or code would be gone permanently. If you used Windows prior to 2018, then you likely know the dread of losing text or code that you had selected and cut ( Ctrl+X) with the intention of pasting ( Ctrl+V) elsewhere.
